Emma's Reviews
2019 Tour
Theater Review: BroadwayWorld Raleigh
“The general's granddaughter, Susan, is younger in the stage show than in the film and Emma Grace Berardelli brings a precocious cheerfulness to the role.”

Theater Review: Lincoln Journal Star
“Along with young Emma Grace Berardelli, the show’s scene-stealers are veterans Lorna Lufte and Conrad John Schuck, who play Gen. Henry Waverly, who runs the Vermont Inn to which Wallace is shanghaied by Phil and the sisters, and the brassy busybody Martha Watson, whose snooping creates the mix-up that provides the story’s drama, such as it is.”

“Young Emma Grace Berardelli, who plays the General’s granddaughter, Susan Waverly, is a particular delight when given the opportunity to sing and dance."

Theater Review: On Boston Stages
“The cast includes solid performers in the lead roles, a few old pros still at the top of their game in key character roles, and even a charming kid... and where would we be without the requisite cute, star-struck kid, in this case Susan Waverly (Emma Grace Berardelli), the general’s granddaughter"

Theater Review: White Christmas 2018 Tour
“When Bob (Sean Montgomery) sings with Susan (Emma Grace Berardelli) “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep,” the audience is compelled to reflect on that simple, yet profound ideal.”

“Emma Grace Berardelli, who had the role of Susan at Tuesday’s performance, was pint-size powerhouse, with a mini-megaphone of a voice that endeared her with the audience.

Theater Review (NYC): 'Annie' from the Gallery Players"
"The young Emma Grace Berardelli did a great job in the lead role, especially when she sang "It's A Hard Knock Life" and "Tomorrow." I still have the tunes in my head, and her positive attitude and outlook on life should be adopted by all (not just FDR and his senior cabinet.) Berardelli's ability and stage presence were remarkable alongside talented acting veterans many years her senior. This hard work and dedication will pay off for years to come."

Theater Review (NYC): ‘Ragtime’ from the Gallery Players"
"This is a fine ensemble cast, and mentioning everyone would be tiresome. Yet I can’t resist giving kudos to child actors Gareth Hogan and Emma Berardelli. Both substitutes for the listed players, they showed mature skill and devastating charm on Friday night."

"The small children who play Baby June, Baby Louise, and the other pint-sized vaudeville performers in the opening scenes are absolutely adorable, with remarkable stage presence and surprising skill. They actually made me nervous that after being bowled over by cuteness, I might be disappointed with the adult cast."
